A hidden gem by the lake

The lakeside views were breathtaking! Watching the sunrise from the balcony was a magical start to each day. The pools provided endless fun for the kids.

Despite the beautiful setting, our room felt a bit worn down. There were some stains on the carpet and outdated appliances that diminished the overall experience.

The private beach area was fantastic for my family, especially my grandson! We enjoyed splashing around in the outdoor heated pool and took part in some fun activities nearby like hiking and fishing. The beautiful lake view from our balcony was a cherry on top.

In my wife’s opinion, the room felt a bit outdated, and the furnishings could use a refresh. A little more attention to updating the decor and making it family-friendly would really improve our experience.

What a nice place to relax We were here during off season and it was perfect the large room had a beautiful view of the lake and the indoor pool and hot tub were fantastic for the kids after a long day and the bathroom was spacious enough to fit everyone comfortably.

It wasn’t cheap but it was acceptable for what we got.

Our recent visit was highlighted by fantastic views of Lake Delton and the exhilarating water amusement park that kept our kids entertained. The complimentary kayaks were a hit! Though the room was comfortable, cleanliness could use improvement, and the pools, while fun, weren't as warm as we hoped. We'd consider returning!

The jacuzzi in the room was a great touch for relaxation. Communication with staff was an issue. The thick accent of the clerk made it hard to understand some of the details I needed. Another downside was the late check-in policy. We arrived early, thinking we could settle in, but had to wait until 4 PM. Overall, the atmosphere was quite family-friendly, which I appreciated, but a bit more attention to the furniture and clearer communication would go a long way.

During my stay, I loved being just a 15-minute stroll from Newport Park, where the scenic views made my walks even more enjoyable, and it was also great that major attractions like Timbavati Wildlife Park were only a short distance away, allowing me to explore at my leisure.
